The Cochlear Implant Program of The Ottawa Hospital would like to inform you that Christine McIlquham will be retiring on August 31, 2026. Christine has been with The Ottawa Hospital for 38 years and has been part of the Cochlear Implant Team as our Program Assistant for the past 26 years.

Some of you may have had the pleasure of meeting her in person or have spoken with her on the phone. Christine was always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable to our patients. She has been invaluable in the growth and success of our program. She will be greatly missed.

We are gathering messages to wish her well in her retirement and we felt that best wishes or kind thoughts from patients would add a special touch.

If you would like to write to Christine, please send your message by replying to this email by September 12, 2026. Let us know if you would like to include your name or if you prefer to remain anonymous. We will compile the messages and present them to Christine as a part of a special gift to commemorate her years with the Cochlear Implant Program.

Thank you.
